The acquisition marks one of Intermountain Healthcare\u2019s larger rural developments, as most of the rural communities it owns and operates its facilities in are situated upon nine acres or less.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe welcome Intermountain Healthcare to Ephraim Crossing. Its reputation of providing the highest-quality healthcare will support our mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle for residents,\u201d said Kevin Romney, managing partner of Camino Verde Group, who is developing Ephraim Crossing.<\/p>\n<p>Intermountain Healthcare will serve as an anchor tenant within the community, creating career opportunities and providing important services for local residents. \u201cIntermountain Healthcare will make an extensive economic impact in Ephraim Crossing, from creating jobs to offering accessible services, the facility will be an essential resource,\u201d said Romney.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Intermountain Healthcare\u2019s new campus, Ephraim Crossing\u2019s remaining 105 acres will offer a variety of housing, entertainment, retail and office space, indoor and outdoor recreation, higher learning and other essentials. Once completed, the community will be home to more than 700 families, offering city-life amenities in an affordable rural environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEphraim Crossing was thoughtfully designed to accommodate both families and business professionals looking to relocate,\u201d said Romney. \u201cThe community will offer all the same necessities and resources that typically comes with city living, but in a more secure, affordable and rural area to innovate and improve the overall quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ephraim Crossing is planned to encompass living options fit for all residents, including both single-family and multifamily housing units. Residential developments are currently underway in the community\u2019s first neighborhood, The Estates at Ephraim Crossing by Sagebrush Homes, which are now available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p>At The Estates, residents can choose from five floor plans ranging from 2,416 to 5,320 square feet in size with prices starting in the high $300s. The community is also preparing to break ground on its second residential community, Ephraim Crossing Townhomes and is in the process of constructing a two-story, 32,000 square-foot tech office and co-working facility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur investment in Ephraim Crossing exemplifies our dedication to buying and developing in markets with high potential for economic growth,\u201d said Romney.
